Can't download apps from play store

I pulled my old Droid phone out of the drawer to use over WiFi but it won't download any apps from the play store. It is not rooted. Any ideas? I would like to listen to Pandora..... Thank you in advance for your help.

Leave it on WiFi for a while and let Google Play update to new one, it will after a bit. If it still doesn't, clear cache and stop app, then try again should work.

If that doesn't work..or to force the update...clear data on your Google play store app.. force stop, reboot...now go back to the play store and it should have an update itself...oh...also...make sure you're signed in...(just covering all the bases ) :blink:
