Getting back to the Arkon mount. I finally played with the vent mount, and while I like it, the clips suck. I ended up taking the clips off, and the support arm, and then cable tying it onto my vent. Nice and solid now. If anyone wants pics, I can post.
Nice thing too is that it leaves the windshield mount for when I'm not in my vehicle. I prefer vent mount for my car, but it's always an unknown for when I'm traveling in other cars. And since I want stability, the windshield mount works fine for when I'm not in my vehicle.
