Droid X keeps 3G on when wifi connected

X is rooted for a LONG time... Just recently when wifi connected 3G stays on and seems toforce wifi to disconnect... Have resorted to Data Switch app to turn off 3G when wifi connected

Any thoughts as to why this is happening all of a sudden?

When my phone was doing that it was because there wasn't a signal to the wifi because the password was incorrect

Well I don't think that's it because when I turn the 3g off it stays connected to wifi fine

Have you tried rebooting?

Oh yeah I've rebooted I have done a forget on the network and reconnected all of that sort of thing

Try setting>battery & data manager and disable data over mobile network

Background data is enabled but data over mobile is already disabled

The only other thing I can think of is shut of wifi and then turn airplane mode on and off a couple of times

Did u try turning airplane mode on and off to reset the radios?

I do appreciate you trying to help I had tried the airplane mode thing I'll get it figured out of eventually
