Hi everyone, I purchased the new iBolt car dock for my DNA and it seems it is not able to charge my phone when connected to the dock. I occasionally get an error message stating it doesn't have the power needed to charge. I have sent a email off to iBolt but haven'theard back yet so I figuredI would give it a shot here while waiting.

Glad you got it figured out. They probably supply a 9' cable so you can run it around and behind the dash.

I have the same problem and they have been very helpful for me

I have been using a USB charger and had no issues until Verizon did the last OTA. Then I started getting similar message about not enough power to charge. I will try a new cable based on your feedback.

Thanks

Nick

I have noticed that after the last OTA I'm having issues charging my DNA when on the car charger too. Have multiple chargers that I have tried and all start to charge then the indicator comes on saying "slow charging". Was never a problem before the update.

If you look at Sherry's Post (Charging Issues), it looks like this has been identified now as a known issue and HTC is working on it.

This what I am doing until they send me a new cable. I replaced the USB cable that plugs into the back of the holder with a "Motorola Vehicle Power Adapter micro-USB Rapid Rate Charger" Model SPN5400A, under $10.00. I can run Escort Live and Pandora and it keeps up. When checking the battery, it says "Charging AC". The short cable on the holder is fine, it is the long USB one that is faulty. They were very nice to me on the telephone, now I will see if they follow through with a new cable.

I haven't heard from them in a month I have lost a little faith. Hopefully they will come through!

Still waiting IBolt. You sounded very helpful when I originally talked to you, now please follow through.
thanks
