installing apps from SD card, only showing up on 2/3 of the screen

i like to keep back ups of my apps and normally install them from the SD card, but a few apps are only showing up on a portion of the screen, not taking up the full screen.

example, here is advanced task manager;

any ideas on why this is?

I'm wondering if they were made for a smaller screen like the D1. I had that problem too. Maybe download again? Or see if there's an update?

This is happening on my girl's rezound, but only seems to happen with the tmz app. Already told her to delete and install again but still does it. Works fine on my thunderbolt. I was thinking maybe it wasn't designed for a hd screen like like the rezound, maybe? Any thoughts........?

flip it around sideways then back mine does same but adjust itself after I do this?
