Hi All,

On my Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini (Model number: SAMSUNG-SGH-I257), I have K9 Browser Installed. My operating system is Android 4.4.2.

Due to a bug with the app, it seems to crash every time I launch it. I get the error "Unfortunately, K9Browser has stopped." I'd like to have it uninstalled so I don't have to deal with it anymore until the developer fixes it. Trouble is, I'm unable to login (I know my password) to deactivate/uninstall the app if I can't actually open it without it crashing.

Can someone give me a hand?

Thanks,

Robbie

Settings > Apps. Find the app. Clear cache. Force stop. Open app again. If all else fails, then clear the data. You will need to enter all info again. If that fails, uninstall and re-install the app.

The Force stop button is grayed out, so I can't press it. Uninstall button is grayed out as well.

Clearing the cache should be enough. The next step would be to clear data and set up the app again.

How would I clear the data?

Attached is a screenshot of the app info screen if that helps.

I cleared the cache. Here's a screenshot that actually works:K9.png

I've also cleared all three types of data in this screenshot: K9 2.png

Opened up the app again and still crashes upon launching.

What happens when you click "Manage storage" as I see there is still data on the sdcard.

The second screenshot above results from clicking Manage storage.

Okay, then I would uninstall the app and install it again.

I personally have not had issues with K9.

I'm unable to uninstall it. As you can see in the first screenshot I've posted, the Uninstall button is grayed out and cannot be pressed.

Try looking on your sdcard for the K9 folder and renaming it or deleting it.
