monitoring packets

i am using a motorola e5 supra
running android 8.00.

from this android device i would
like to monitor wifi packets being
sent from another device, a samsung
smart tv over wifi.

samsung is now installing useless
bloatware on thier tizen tvs and i
want to monitor what the tvs are
transmitting over wifi for any personal
information etc.

i am asking for suggeations as to
how to accomplish this ideally from
my android phone but i am willing
to buy another device if necessary.

please advise me as to do this.
please tell me of a more approipate
forum and or website to disscuss this
if there is one.

Welcome to the forum. Just do a google search on packet sniffers and Wireshark.
