OK guys... I don't know. I fussed with it all night and it simply doesn't work. I give up. I'm done. My Ubuntu laptop connects just fine but although the Droid does negotiate and connect it can't see anything in my network, thus it's a pointless connection.

Code:
genius@k-netbook:~$ adb shell

There is a post here: Issue 2 - android-openvpn-installer - Make path to ifconfig and route configurable upon installation - Project Hosting on Google Code

And the guy who posted #30 says he fixed it but he's lying.

Someone else dropped a link for a better copy of the file but the bz2 file from Modaco is corrupted so he's lying too.

Then someone says in post 34 to create sym links which I did but that didn't work so she's lying--might be the same ****ing liar as in #30.

Finally someone at the end says that #30 and 34 works... they're all a bunch of damn ****ing liars! I'm so pissed! I stayed home just so I could get this to work.

It simply doesn't work. In order to qualify as a VPN connection you have to be able to access the network you are trying to tunnel to, otherwise it's just waste of time.

I JUST SO PISSED!
