Any way to replace Thunder Boot Sound?

I am trying to replace the thunder sounds when the phone boots up. Any ideas? It wont let me replace it.

I have tried replacing the finalthunder.mp3 file in the systems folder but it wont let me paste in that area or delete that file

Are you doing it on your phone or computer. If your doing it on your phone make sure you click on r/w if your on the computer you should only have to drag the new file to the folder that the mp3 is located in. You can also try renaming the old version to .old

Trying to do it from my phone using astro file manager. It wont let me edit anything under the system folder. Should I use a different program? R/w?

use Root Explorer, then make sure you select "mount r/w" at the top right - then you'll be able to copy/paste/rename/whatever
