Audio sound quality

I have a D3 and use the Poweramp app. I really like it, but more often then not, I get skips and pauses along with this annoying 'machine gun' interference. At first I thought it was the audio port jack, as I know there is a hardware issue there. All my songs are usually played from the device, so I don't think it's a streaming issue. Any ideas to clear this up?

Having the same issue with stock music player. I think it's Cus the CPU often goes from 300mhz- 1ghz to save battery when phone is idle or it don't need as much processing power. Haven't found a fix myself but I'll keep you updated on anything I come accost.

Same here. Mine skips on wired or bluetooth with Winamp and Google Navigation.
