BMW iDrive and the Motorola Droid..

Hey guys.. I read previous threads regarding hooking up the Droid to the BMW iDrive system for bluetooth, etc. I was wondering if it is possible to control my Droid music through the iDrive system? I can hook up the Droid via aux and the car's USB but every time I want to change the song, I have to do it with my phone. The songs don't show up on the iDrive as they would with an iPod. I don't think the USB is doing anything to the Droid other than charging it. Does anyone have any experience with this? It would be really convenient to control everything using the car's iDrive system. The car is a 2008 328i if it matters. Thanks!
