Clockwork Mod Recovry Issues (Please help)

Okay so I have been running liberty 1.5 for while now on my droid 2. . I have basically been toughing this problem out but I've now had enough, well the problem is... everytime my phone shuts off either by me or by its self(that's another issue I have that id like help with my phone shuts off on its own and when it turns back on it sends messages by its self that I have already sent) but annnnywho everytime my phone shuts off it automatically boots into clockwork recovery where I have to hit "reboot device" sometimes I have to do this multiple times and I'm gettin mad.. So can anyone please please please help me with these 2 problems!! PLEASE!
