should work fine, as long as your using gsm carrier, not verizon (cdma does not use sim card)

I assume you are a Verizon Wireless customer.

VZW's pre-installed “Global SIM” card that is in your Verizon D2G will only work outside the USA provided you have Global Services enabled.

The Verizon Global SIM's only function is to provide roaming service in GSM networks, as only very, very weird carriers use CDMA, and there aren't many of such weird carriers in the world.

then switch to a gsm carrier, you will need a sim unlock code then use band unlock method
