I was wondering where is the ESN stored at?
Reason for it is that I know someone with a bad esn d2g, and I was wondering if its possible to switch parts out with my d2 so I can get the faster processor.

I really doubt you or anyone can switch the processors between the two phones.

Sure you can..... if you want a really expensive paperweight unless you know exactly what your doing.

I would assume the ESN is store in the motherboard though.

The answer is no. The radio is part of the board.
