Well my D2G has been a trooper for 2 1/2 years and it's trying to die on me so it's time to move on. When upgrading to my new phone next week, will I have to do anything special with the Google Authenticator app on the new phone since it will have the same number as my old phone? Don't want to get locked out of my accounts.

Hope there are still some folks surfing these forums.

Thanks in advance,
Techjourney

yes you will need to use a different kind of authentication code
but the app on the old phone will work as long as the time is correct, doesn't require connection to generate codes, they are time based
