HDMI trying to hookup when not connected. Help Please

About every 2 to 5 minutes or when you open an app, a window pops up trying to connect to tv. I've went in and turned HDMI off but it still keeps saying that. How can I get rid of it? Any suggestions would help

Make sure there is no trash/dust in the HDMI port.
