Hey, I was wondering how in the heck do I delete a porn vid I "accidentally" downloaded and is now sitting in my gallery?

Long hold on the file.... should pop up with some options. If not just download yourself a free file explorer from The Market and browse and delete it just like you would from your PC.

Sorry to bump an old thread but here's my problem. The vids that are showing in my gallery will not let me delete them. they cannot be played but I can't delete them. I tried long holding, I tried Astro. The are in their own folder, I open the folder and hit the menu button, select items, menu again, select all, menu again and delete. The green check marks go away but they are still there. I tried to delete the folder with no luck. What next?

Mount that thing on to a computer, navigate to the file and see if the computer can delete it.

If that doesn't work, the only thing left to do is a Factory Data Reset. That will definitely delete those video files.

This is the first time I've ever heard of this problem.

Lol, it sounds like you have a stubborn file, maybe even a virus. Try copying all the contents on your sd card to your computer, then reformat your sd card from your Droid settings.

Obviously, a data reset would wipe everything I have now, right? Not that I have anything important in there now. I will try the computer gimmick and see what happens. Thanks.

It's weird, the thumbnails from the videos are there but the videos aren't. I can see the thumbnails but the videos won't play.

*****UPDATE***** Maybe I'm just being impatient because after however long ago I bumped this, they're gone. Thanks again guys for the help. I forsee me spending quite a bit of tim on here trying to figure this phone out.
