Even though the flagship Samsung Galaxy S7 is water-resistant, that doesn't mean it is also impact resistant. While it can ignore rain, would easily survive a drop in a sink full of water, and you could probably even take it swimming, it still isn't really designed to be used in rugged environments and situations. That's why Samsung typically launches an Active version of their flagship Galaxy S devices. This year is no exception.

The leaked images we have to show off today (above and in the thread below) show off the AT&T version of the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active. As usual, it is meant to be a ruggedized device, able to withstand the bumps and grinds of an active lifestyle. Along with the Snapdragon 820 chipset and 4GB of RAM, the Galaxy S7 Active includes a digital camo-style polycarbonate shell.

Here's our dedicated section for the various Galaxy S7 smartphones: Samsung Galaxy S7, S7 Edge & S7 Active

ROFL. Thanks! I'm not at all unfamiliar with being the one to state the obvious when otherwise the room remains silent.

Yeah, I've never been a fan....reminds me too much of the old Moto Droid Charge. But then, nobody buys the Galaxy S Active for how it looks, but for it's durability.
