Okay please help!!!

Okay guys. I go to pick up my phone and the screen wont come on. The buttons at the bottom are lighting up though. So i figure its just froze up so i take the battery out and turn it back on. Then a black screen comes up with white letters. I cant remember everything it said because it went away but i do remember it saying something like "battery is OK". Then another black screen comes up and there is a picture of a Moto Droid laying down with a white triangle and exclamation point beside it. Its still on that screen. Please help me i have no idea what its doing.

Have you tried flashing a new rom?
