ROM Without The Headphone Whine

With the ICS update I have the infamous headphone whine. I have done a full factory reset, tried various headphones, etc and it's still there. Does anyone who had this whine with ICS know if there is a ROM that doesn't have it?

I'm hoping to keep using my Bionic but am going to have to switch back to my Charge because of this.

what do you mean about the headphone whine??
I have not experienced any of that
Have u tried to reset your phone by using rsd lite and using one of the stock blur versions???
If not you should try it would reset ur system completely

Apparently when the Bionic first came out, some phones had a high pitched whine. It was hardware issue but was fixed with a software update. ICS has not retained this fix. I tried a full factory reset and multiple other ROMs including CM10 and they also have the whine. I got at bluetooth gadget which has a headphone jack which sidesteps the problem.

Considering this issue and the fact that I went through 2 OG Droids for headphone jack problems my permanent solution will be to avoid Motorola products in the future.
