swype freezes on me and does not respond after hitting the first key.......
rebooting didnt work, could not uninstall or reinstall.
was thinking of resetting the phone.
but this is what helped >
settings > applications > manage applications > filter > running applications > swype > clear data > force stop
reboot
viola ! swype started working again.
what this means is the internal dictionary or stored data had gone corrupt.
