Search button doesn't work

I'm having a problem with my search button not working most of the time (the one on the bottom right). I press it and nothing happens. Sometimes I can get it to work, but not too often. Has anyone else experienced this and know how to fix it?

I am having the same issue with my search button not working. I am tempted to go to the verizon store but wanted to check if you were ever able to determine what the issue was? Thanks!
