I downloaded foxfi so my wife could use her kindle for the internet but it does not work.. she can connect to my phone but can not go on the internet.. i am rooted. Is there a better app for this.. thanks

change the network name and leave the wpa to open...but unfortunatly the best route is root..:blink:

If she can connect to your device, and you have a data connection.. she should be good to go..

I wouldn't leave the wpa to open... that's just me though.. then anybody can jump your connection and use your data.

I use foxfi all the time with zero issues... I'm fortunate I guess lol.

That was the key right there once you install it you have to reboot your phone
