Previously we shared news that the ultimate Samsung Galaxy S III would make its way to Korea. This is the phone that is a marriage between the North American version of the phone and the International version of the phone. It has the quad-core Exynos chip, coupled with 2GB of RAM and LTE! It also has, 32GB of internal storage, 2100 mAh battery (same as the US variant), NFC, DMB TV tuner and Adnroid 4.0. Samsung officially shared that the device will become available in Korea on July 9th.

It would be fantastic if Samsung found a way to make this version of this phone work in the United States at some point. What do you guys think?

Is the LTE chip on this version non-compatible with Verizon's LTE network or just not available in the US?

Its supposed to be compatible with Verizon's LTE. Instead of using an on CPU LTE chip, its a seperate chip in the phone. No idea why this wasn't done for Verizon's other than its cheaper to keep everything on one chip.

Also, what is the DMB Tv Tuner? Is that something specific to Korea?
