I posted this on another forum but thought I would share it here as well:
My wife has the Ally and she loves it. I played with it and that prompted me to get the new DX. But we were at the in-laws house last night and my wife was playing with my daughter in her kiddie pool. She had the phone in her hand a dropped it in the pool. The Wife snatched it out pretty quickly but it was still completely underwater. We got it out and it was still powered on and working. I pulled the battery, opened the keyboard and let it sit in the sun for about a half hour. Put the thing back together and it powered right up. Great construction on a phone that does not get enough hype.
