Troubles with dual-panel settings

I enabled the dual-panel for settings on the Liquidsmooth ROM and now am unable to set it back, and on portrait mode this can be quite troublesome. I am unable to find a way to force the settings app to restart, and everytime I change which category of settings I'm on the checkbox for dual-panel resets back to "on". Anybody else know a fix for this? hopefully this is something I have just overlooked.
