I unlocked the bootloader and status says unlocked, so then I double clicked install suprboot, it proceeded to boot logo with lock. Then updates, changes now it keeps rebooting... Can't get out. I what should I do?

I am referring to a family members nexus, and I am attempting to root it for them

Not sure I understand your question. But you'll be in the bootloader using the command prompt for that guide.

I followed a similar method when I was stuck in bootloader mode. It worked. The phone rebooted before the final step so my phone stayed unlocked. Then I used a method of adb pushing the rooting? Y phone. After doing that the phone still didn't reboot but a battery pull fixed it.

Yeah I was stuck in a bootloop after I unlocked and attempted to root. I followed to guide and restored the phone but left the bootloader unlocked, rooted again and it booted up just fine. Thank you all for the help. Merry Christmas!
