If you want freshly baked cookies in 10 minutes check out this kickstarter: Homepage

This may be a lifesaver for the holiday season for those catering a large crowd.

Counter space is hot real estate. No way I'd sacrifice a chunk for a thing that only does one thing... make 4 cookies in 10 minutes.

Somebody needs to tell them that convection toaster ovens already exist, they cost $200, and can roast/toast/bake/defrost hundreds of things.

I have to agree, 4 cookies in 10 minutes?! What the whaa?! I mean if this machine cut the cooking time in half or something revolutionary like that, but this is a major waste of counter space for what it does. (OR actually, what it doesn't do)

I can bake 36 cookies in 10-15 minutes. It would take me 90 minutes to bake that many with this machine.

The 4 cookie idea is to keep you disciplined.

Santa can only have four cookies this year.

Now that is truly what I need because I could go through half a dozen cookies in no time!

You guys are missing the point. The point is "fresh baked". Which means when you get that cookie craving, in 10 minutes you have one sitting worth of hot, gooey cookie goodness.

And if you need more than 4 cookies in one sitting, well, you need to reexamine your life.

Sounds like you're pretty selfish, because 4 cookies won't do it for a couple or family, maybe just for you, if you're a single person, maybe this is for you, but only 4... Like others have said, waste of countertop and cabinet space.

LOL

I hope the Android community works out as much as they eat dozens of cookies. Anyway, i think this is a cool idea. Another benefit is being able to bake the cookies in the summer without the oven heating the entire kitchen up.

Gotta agree with what others have said. Not worth it, IMO. My wife and I can eat at least 2-3 cookies in one sitting. Then there's the kid to think about (baby doesn't eat cookies yet). We keep the toaster IN a cabinet when not in use because of counter space and we have a large peninsula and plenty of counter, but the microwave, coffee pot, dishes that haven't been washed yet, dishes in the drying rack, mail, baby formula, bottles, etc. take priority.

I'm also curious to know if you HAVE to use their special dough pods, because I'm sure that's an extra premium expense vs. making your own or buying cheaper ready-to-bake options.

Not for my family, but if I was still living the bachelor life, I'd probably be all over this. Haha
