Error after update. Maybe due to root or ClockworkMod

Hi guys,

I have a rooted galaxy nexus with a ClockWorkMod Recovery installed. I have ICS 4.0.4 factory Rom installed.
Lately I get a msg in the phone saying that a new update will be applied and the phone will reboot to install it. But everytime it does it, I end up with the dead android Exclamation sign screen.

I have tried locking the phone again, and trying to install the update through clockwork but all it says is that it doesnt find the update.zip file or that verification failed.

Is there some workaround here or should i remove clockworkmod and lock the phone for the updates installments to work?

any advice?

If you have CWM, you shouldn't be receiving update notifications. Are you on Verizon?
