getting a pre-owned phone

Has anyone had experience with pre-owned phones from verizon?


I wanna pick up a droid X with my upgrade, but I'm slightly short on money.

150$ for preowned vs 200$ for new.


I just wanna know if the handset will look nice/clean.

The certified pre-owned D1 I got last week looks like it's brand new.

The CPO D1 that my wife got yesterday looks like new, but it doesn't work correctly, so we have to take it back.

And since its certified, itl be replaced free of charge and everything. right?
