Google Assistant - Shopping List in Google Keep

Here's a pretty cool tip for using Google Assistant to create (and add items) a shopping list in Google Keep instead of just Home or Express. Just say "or else" at the end of the command. I kind of like this because it will be easier to share with my wife.

Thanks for the tip. I didn't realize that Google changed the functionality, I thought my Home still added items to my default Shopping list in Keep. I didn't realize there was a separate lost inside the Home app. I don't use my Home (or Assistant) often to make voice command shopping lists,Z but when I do now I know how to get it to update my list in Keep.

I'm kind of bummed by this new change. Even using the "or else" at the end of the voice command isn't working. She still updates the Assistant shopping list and not my Keep shopping list. I liked it better when Home updated my Keep shopping list, it's much easier and simpler to find and open instead of digging deep into the Home app menu. Time to go on the Home support forum and see what folks are saying there.

There was an uproar when it was first change. nobody liked it. I tried it and almost immediately when back to Alex's lists.

Alexa can add to "Our Groceries" too which is no question the best shopping list app.
We get our groceries delivered now so we don't really use a list now.

would be nice if groceries would be delivered here too. the best we have is the schwan truck and a truck selling frozen meat. too expensive and undependable.
