How to SBF back to 4.1.2?

Hey guys.

I'm looking for a step-by-step for getting a rooted phone back to factory unrooted condish using RSD lite.

I've seen some tutorials out there but none that seem to be up-to-date with 4.1.2

It's pretty much the same process. Boot the phone in AP Fastboot and run RSDLite on your PC, select the 4.1.2 xml .zip file and go.

I suggest Factory Resetting after to remove your configured stuff......the fastboot just rewrites out the system partitions and doesn't touch the user data.

So apps and stuff will still be there from before?

I thought this wiped the phone completely clean. Am I wrong about that?

Got it to reboot after what looks like it installed but rsd lite still says "reboot >> in process." Phone is booted up. Now it says "Please manually power up this phone" and it's on.

Any ideas?

Nothing wrong there....RSDlite is usually slow on reporting a reboot, etc..

Just do a factory data reset and you're done.
