For quite some time, I have been toying around with the notion of doing a weekly news spot:
Worst News story I have heard... This week.
I mostly want to know what kind of interest there might be in such a segment. As an example of what this one might be:
Our winner comes from Yahoo! Sports Minute.
Several Goats are attempting to balance on a piece of sheet metal, and the video, while Viral, and charming, becomes the worst news story this week just because Yahoo! tries to pass it off as a Sports piece.
You really should watch it, just so you know where I am coming from: Y! SPORTS
The host calls this a 'Sport' twice in the first ten seconds of her commentary... I just don't know if it qualifies except under the most generous definitions of "Sport".
The Moral of the story: If its a slow news day, and you don't have anything to say; keep it that way.
