Need Help! Droid Pro not booting after update

Hi all, I'm new to this forum and new to custom firmwares especially motorola. I'm from singapore but I got a Verizon Droid Pro running stock GB.

I decided to try out gummyrom and followed the steps
1. Root
2. Install BS
3. CWM
4. Data and dalvik wipe
5. Install update
6. Data and dalvik wipe

The phone got stuck on the boot animation for more than 15mins so I pulled battery and entered stock recovery via Power + R + M. I did a factory reset from there and reboot and the phone worked! I installed BS again and tried to enter CWM but it got stucked on boot again.

Data wipe did not work, I decided to let the boot run for 30mins and no working signs.
Update from SD card from stock recovery gives me assert failed E:Error in /tmp/sideload/package.zip (status7) Installation aborted with the provided stock roms.

As Im living in Singapore, is it a good idea to SBF as I will not be able to activate my phone via verizon as im not their customer?

Any help is deeply appreciated..

Ok guy, I got it to work. SBF flased to stock GB, skiped verizon activation and it worked with my sim. nt sure how it works
