Ok so I recently had a comp in my house lose it's ability to connect to our network wirelessly. It's a mac-mini and the airport went bad in it. Unfortunately Mac's dont play nice with wireless adapters so I think I may have to hard wire it in. In order to do so I need to run about 100 feet of Ethernet cable in the basement up into my bedroom. I know there are different types of cable to buy, is there one people familiar with this stuff would recommend? Or does anyone know of a wireless adapter compatible with a Mac?

Also if you are wondering the airport in a mac mini cannot be replaced like it can in other mac models.

Sweet thanks, I figured the 5e would be ok but then I started seeing different types so I just wanted to double check. Still open to anyone suggesting a network adapter compatible with a mac????
