Padlock on lockscreen?

After updating to jellybean I now have this small padlock on the lockscreen. It's not a big deal, just annoying to see something that was not there before the update. Does anybody know if or how this can be removed? Thanks!

Could try an app that changes your lock screen, or allows you to customize it.

is it maybe because you put in the 'grid lock pattern'
which is the additional security to lock the phone ?
I noted the padlock on the lock screen after i did this.

I too have this padlock, and my unlock method is a simple swipe to unlock, not a grid lock pattern.

Yeah I don't think I installed a gridlock lockscreen. I think this is new to the jellybean update.

Double check in the lock screen options that "Help Text" is not checked..... If that doesn't resolve it let me know

Well,I couldn't remove it,but I did find out,when you make the windmill your lock screen and home scree the pad lock actually unlocks.Kinda cool

the padlock does not bother me... but i tried this and the padlock is still there :happy3:
