Random Shut Down

My phone (global 2) has randomly shut itself off a couple times today as well as a couple times over the last week. Does anyone know why and/or have a solution? Thanks.

Does the phone itself turn off or does the screen just turn off? As in when the phone goes off you can still fill the buttons vibrate etc;

Welcome to the droid forums, some more info would be helpful.

If it randomly powers off, is it turning back on afterwards? Or just turning off and staying off?

My RAZR does the same thing. Later, I pull the phone out of my pocket to check for texts, etc. :icon_eek: Have to power it back up and wait. :angry: Miss phone calls and who knows what else.:angry::icon_evil:

My phone shuts down completely. I did catch it once when it did it. The screen showed the battery outlined in red and the msg said to charge battery. The battery was at 80% at that time.
