Recovering files after a restore

Not sure about this, but is there anyway to restore or recover text messages after a system restore on the Galaxy S3? If so, does anyone know of any programs that would be able to recover these?

There are some apps in the Google Store to back them up but I don't think there is a way to recover them after the fact.

Leeshor is correct. I use the following apps to backup my phone call logs, sms, and apps for later restoration. Unfortunately there is no known way to recover them if they weren't first backed up.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/...hu.CallLogBackupRestore&feature=search_result (backs up and restores the entire call history, putting them back exactly as they were before)

https://play.google.com/store/apps/....SMSBackupRestore&feature=more_from_developer (does the same thing as above but for your SMS Text messages)

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.android_telefonie.appmanager&feature=search_result (makes backups of the APK files for any installed applications, and can later re-install them as if they were being installed from the Play Store)

Note, with the apps above, you must make sure your backup files are being saved to the External SD Card, the removable one, so that you don't lose everything when you wipe the phone's internal memory.
