Restoring Text Messaging History

I'm relatively new to ROMS and feel as if I'm managing pretty well. I've worked out how to get all my apps and contacts restored when loading a new ROM. However, the only thing I can't seem to do is get my text message conversations restored. Is this possible? Although not nearly as important, is it possible to also restore my recent calls and missed calls and things of that nature? TIA

You were supposed to back that up. They are plenty of apps that will back up your SMS msgs and call log.

I use SMS Backup and Restore. It is awesome and FREE! U also have the option to just look through the messages in ur backups without haveing to actually restore the while backup. Now that is cool
