Screen burn in!

I've had the phone for 2 weeks and I'm already getting some screen burn in where the soft keys are. It's very faint, but noticeable with lighter blue items in the soft key normal location, when viewed in landscape mode.

Unless you leave your phone sitting with the keys up in that manner all the time, as in, several hours a day, I don't think you would be getting screen burn in.

The navigation keys are on in the same spot when the phone screen is on, unless it's in landscape mode. I average about 3 hours screen on time a day though.

But of you do have screen burn in..they will replace it..I'm sure..

It's barely noticeable, but I am concerned of what the future may hold. I've been using an immersive app to hide my navigation buttons when I'm in an app. Seems like the shadow is fading away a little.

You're not on xda very often. Nexus 6 was plagued with screen burn in.

You are correct.. I only go there when necessary...

Nope, it was just on auto brightness.

Good to know..I'll keep an eye out for sure....it could be a problem with this new screen..like static..

I did a little research, if the phone has the P-OLED screen as is reported, this could be a very big issue for the lifespan of the display. Most reports are that the p type displays do not last nearly as long as the original amoled screens.
