Strange behavior makes my battery dry

Recently my battery keeps draining and the phone overheat. Everytime I notice this in "running services" menu I keep seeing apps like youtube, gmail, drive etc... stay there for a few seconds and then disappear (even if I never opened these apps for the entire day). Is this behavior causing this issue?
