touch screen issues

having some issues with the phone, for one I'm wondering if anyone has this problem: at random times the touch screen will stop working, that is I can't touch my mail internet camera buttons but for some reason can still touch phone, the plus button and the arrow. anyone else experiencing this? Thanks

Please be more specific. I've had problems in the past with portions of the screen dying, however this isn't enough to pinpoint the cause.

It would be helpful to know: When this happens, if your hands are wet/cold at the time, and also if any recent software changes have been made.
