This just started happening to me in the past day or so. The screen will go haywire, select random things, and just be generally unresponsive as it's doing it's thing going back and forth between home screens or selecting random menu items or whatever the screen happens to be on. Already did a factory data wipe. It's not an app or software. This is a hardware issue. As I type this right now, it's going back and forth between home screens and getting stuck between the two as it does it (obviously on my computer, not the phone :))

Guess it's time to send it in for warranty repair already. I've had the phone for 32 days today. I had my brother make a video on his OG Droid just for evidence.

Debug information shows the screen receiving an input.

It sounds like you received the X2 that I returned after having it for a few days. Verizon was great about the replacement. I had a new one the very next day.

I took mine to my local Verizon store and they said that if they ordered me a replacement phone, that it'd be refurbished. I was like, "Uh no thanks. I don't want a refurbished phone. I just got this one."

Okay. Sending it to Motorola to get a new screen. Let's hope they don't mess it up any further. My OG Droid needed a new screen too, and it came back in good condition.

I'll update when I get it back.
