*#06# Not Displaying IMEI

When I type in *#06# on my HTC Rezound nothing happens. I was able to find the IMEI under "settings"-"About phone"-"phone identity". I was wondering if I was doing something wrong when I type in *#06# or is it just a Rezound thing?
