1/4 of Milestone screen unresponsive

Hey, iv'e been having the ghost touchscreen syndrome for about a week now and it got bad, so bad that shut down the touch function begginig from the search soft key up the top of the screen (so if phone is in landscape, the notifcation area isnt "touching"
Is there a fix? Ive tried draining the battery and changing roms doesnt work. Im running GOT 2.2.1 with The Froyo Mod 2.5 revolution theme.
