I havent been following the Rezound forums since getting my GS3 and passing the Rezound to the wife. I was on the first leak when i gave it to her, and have ben waiting paitently for the OTA but it looks like i need to flash the RUU still. So my question is should I flash the latest leak .12, or is the prior leak .10 more stable? It looks like a number of people are having trouble with the latest leak, and we haven't had any problems with the leak we are on. (i'll check the version tonight)
Or, Perhaps I am better off not messing with anything unless there is a problem?
Thoughts?

I guess the phrase "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" comes to mind. Seems the consensus is the best version depends on the phone/user. I had some irritating little glitches with .10 that have resolved completely with .12 but others here have reported the opposite.

I had .10 with no issues at all, then found out no ota for leak users, wanted to get all future updayes,so I flashed .12 twice along with a factory reset,no issues at all.

I have no problems at all with .12

I suggest you get s-off for your phone and try both.

I already have no issues on .5 ... So I am leery of "upgrading' even to .10. I mean, what will .10 give me that I do not already have?

I'm not asking that sarcastically. I'd really like a few examples.

Being on .12 will allow your phone to receive future OTA updates.

Also, I think all future ROMs will officially require .12 as a prerequisite.

Yeah, thats why I downloaded .12...so that I can "upgrade" to it when I am ready to upgrade to something else.

But there doe not seem to be a reason to upgrade to it right now.

ok, then don't upgrade.

As I have said before, I personally have absolutely no problems with the official ics release.

But, if you are not comfortable with upgrading, then do not upgrade.

I'm going to row the same boat. I have the .12 downloaded on my computer if i ever need it, but i think i am going to stick with what i have since i haven't noticed any issues. I would think that .12 wont add anything you don't already have, it just improves on some of the bugs that are present in our versions, even if we don't see them. I have also heard rumor that more things are locked down on .12, but i cant confirm anything. just hearsay and conjecture here.

This whole thread (and a few similar ones) reminds me of the people who did not want windows NT nor windows XP, insisting windows 95 is better. I wonder if they are still using w95?

I went from .5 to .12 and I haven't really noticed much difference. I did it to get back on the update track. I haven't noticed anything locked down and I was able to freeze every app I had disabled on .5.

That is good to know. I had heard that they had disabled some menus, ,making it harder to turn off LTE and such. I am glad to hear that all it was was rumor.

I also went form 5 to 12 and haven't really noticed anything other than the random reboots seem to have stopped.
