15 second ringtone only?

Folks, I have been trying to use an mp3 as a ringtone on my new DroidX. Used ringdroid, mp3 in on the phone and functioning, but when the phone rings only uses 15 seconds of the song, then the phone says "droid" and restarts the mp3 from the beginning. Saving in Ringdroid or Ringtone for 45 second does not seem to help, unless I'm messing that up.

Any thoughts?

I'm thinking the caller hears the phone ring 7 times than goes to voicemail.
Not sure how long 7 rings take but that could be the problem/reason.

I tried to test this theory. Called the Droid on my home phone, heard the ringtone start, 15 seconds or so into the ringtone, the Droid starts the ringtone over. The phone is still ringing on the home phone I am using to call. 30 seconds into the call, Droid goes to voicemail.

Very odd. Anyone else have an idea? Is there a setting which dictates the length of the ringtone?
