2.0 or 2.1 Verizon Eris Upgrade

Should I download the version 2.0 or 2.1 upgrade for droid eris? It appears the 2.0 upgrade received much more positive feedback than the newer 2.1, which appears to have some major issues.
For some reason I did not receive the upgrade to 2.0 when Verizon sent it? I definitely need to upgrade from my original 1."whatever" version currently running! Just need some recommendations! Thx

I have the leaked 2.1 v3 on my phone and it is running without problems

Don't think there was a 2.0 for the Eris. Mine went 1.5 to 1.6 to 2.1. btw, no problems with 2.1 presently.
