2.1 amp car charger

Hello. I just picked up a dual USB car charger for 7.99$ USD. It says it's a 2.1 amp fast charge. Is that out of spec, or will it ruin my phone or battery?

Measuring DC amperage I've found 1 amp and 2.1 amp ports to charge about the same with Android devices I had available. No devices or chargers went above .94amp. Most combos maxed out at .89 amp.
