2.1 seems slow...

i was running droidmod, loved it...about 3am this morning i got the update notificiation...every time i told it later, it would ask again...i honestly didn't think any thing would be posted that early...so after about 2 hrs of this i went to dmupdater, went back to stock and installed 2.1...its not smooth at all...takes a second for beautiful widgets to come on screen...when i unlock, takes a second for everything to appear, browser seems very slow and pinch to zoom is horrendous. i'm thinking i did something wrong b/c it seems everyone whos gotten 2.1 has had a nice experience so far...can anyone help? thanks guys

Even with a battery pull, mine seems a wee bit more sluggish than before 2.1... But then again I'm also now running live wallpaper, 2.1 weather widget and a few other new additions, so it's to be expected. Still running pretty smooth and slick overall though I'd say.

I had my 2.1 update yesterday morning and noticed last night it was running slow. I did a shutdown and it still was slow. I discovered when using the Galaxy Live Wallpaper it would run slow. I changed it regular wallpaper and it sped up. I'm now using the Magic Smoke Live wallpaper and it seems to be fine. I do not know how the Live Wallpaper works but I wonder if some draw more on the CPU than others. Maybe the more active they are the more it slows other things down.
